The NFPA have a non-downloadable, non-printable, read-only version of all their codes available on their website. You will need to create an account to access them, however. You won't find it online. I need to dig to find what my original link was. The others are correct. Most of the NEC is not relevant to your needs, and unless you are conversant with reading it, will likely just confuse. As said above, any of the various "comprehensive" manuals like Ugly's is what you want to get. Is this a home or a commercially-zoned building? If it is commercially zoned it may get more aggressively inspected. According to what I am getting from the REA and found on their websiteas long as I have 15kva or smaller service, I wont have to deal with a demand meter, and the rates are same or a tiny bit more than residential depending on if they consider it residential or "small power".
