Ive been delaing with this for a while, and finally sat down to see how to download my photos from the Samsung Cloud. I may have found a solution, I m currently downloading photos on my camera which I believe are in the cloud directly to my phone again.
From there, I believe I will be able to download from my camera direct to my PC. I have to have the sync on from Samsung Cloud, thats the only way my pictures show up on my phone. From the gallery, camera folder, I selected all pictures I have pictures, and currently downloding and used the three button tasks bar on the top right, and selected download. Its very slow to download, download samsung cloud photosn to pc, but looks like it will do the trick.
I am noticing now that all the pictures are being saved directly to my phone gallery, in the camera folder. Once complete, I am going to save to my PC. Once this is all done for all photos, I am going to turn off the Samsung Cloud, and just use the Google Photos cloud, much easier to download from PC from Google. View solution in original post.
Thanks, I also found another way which is also slow but works, download samsung cloud photosn to pc. Installed Microsoft OneDrive on my Galaxy Note 8 synced all my photos to OneDrive cloud, then I manually select a screen load of pics at a time which can be downloaded to my phone. Shouldn't be this difficult is day and age. Cloud based photos should be a lot easier to access AND download to our devices! How do I explore samsung cloud its just uploading many photos are duplicates or I dont need.

My sincere advice to all Samsung consumers please do not use the Samsung Cloud at all. It is either malfunctioned or it's a scam. There is no explorer there is no proper viewing app and you cannot see or sort or organise your media. You cannot even see what Samsung clouds is uploading in background to full your 15 GB space and you don't know what it is.
It's not like Dropbox, gdrive etc. Then Samsung this way will force download samsung cloud photosn to pc to buy more cloud space and pay for it. They themselves are not able to answer to tbe point to customers and they have preset response of asking customer to check help section which is also useless. That's where everybody lands first. Followin this leads to disaster, loss of time as everything is so sloooooooow, and if you have a deadline you are done.
